Few Tips To Handle Recession...

Job lost, unpredictable stock market, housing crisis, shambling banking industry! What to do in the midst of all this financial turmoil? Few tips for making it through the rough waters many of us are facing:

-           Focus on your career. Your career is your biggest financial asset. So, as long as it's going strong, you have a very reliable safety net in your earning potential. Grab some opportunities to improve your earning power/marketability/job security by attending conferences, seminars, volunteering for a new project that adds to your experience base and delivers needed results for your employer, and networking with others just in case a change is needed.

-           Don’t panic. It can lead you to make some very poor financial moves.

-           Diversify your investments. Spread your money out and you will be much better protected.

-            Before buying any stock or investing in Mutual Fund or Insurance Policies, go through various financial sites which carry the Annual Report of the companies, Interactive stock data chart or Platform to raise your queries to IROs (Investor Relation officers) of companies.

-           Eliminate all of life's luxurious pleasures. Increase your emergency fund. There are areas of spending we all have that can be cut back a bit and not really cramp our styles much.

-           Keep investing. Bulls and Bears phases are the real truth in Stock market. When stocks are low, it's a great buying opportunity if you have more than two years before you need the money.
